Jamie Cullum - Catching Tales

If you are into jazz or chill out music, do check out Jamie Cullum's new album. Besides his own songs and jazz standards, Cullum does a cover of another indie song - as he did with Radiohead's High And Dry on his very first album. This time it is the Doves' Catch The Sun. The album also features a range of collaborators from Dan The Automator (of Gorillaz) to Guy Chambers (who co-wrote most of Robbie Williams' better songs) to another one of my favourite singer-songwriters, Ed Harcourt. Despite Cullum's obviously wide musical influences, the album is tight without sounding too polished.
